This fall, GOWEN celebrates landscapes with a group exhibition featuring past and contemporary artists whose works have expanded the possibilities of the landscape genre. Featuring Swiss and international artists, “Making the Landscape” offers a reflection on the transformation of landscape from a genre often considered minor in classical traditions to a primary means of artistic experimentation expressed through real or imagined settings.
